Chemical Peels

Experience the PCA Peel Difference:
Advanced Treatments for Everyone

What are peels for?

PCA Chemical Peels are for everyone! Whether your skin is dry, oily, combination or even sensitive, there is a chemical peel treatment that will work for you.

What do peels improve?

Chemical peels are safe and effective in improving and preventing most skin conditions:

  • Aging – increase cell turnover and remove excess build-up of dull, dead skin cells, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and revealing softer, smoother skin
  • Acne – help unplug pores and control oil production for clearer skin and fewer breakouts
  • Discoloration – diminish discolorations, leaving a brighter more even skin tone
  • Sensitive Skin/Rosacea – reduce inflammation and redness, calming and soothing skin

Why do I need a peel?

Our skin naturally exfoliates, gently shedding dead skin cells so subtly that most of us don’t even notice. However, as we age, this process tends to slow, resulting in a dull complexion. Excess oils in acne prone skin can also inhibit natural cell exfoliation, resulting in congestion of the pores with these dead cells.

How do peels work?

Chemical peels speed up the exfoliation process, encouraging cell turnover that leaves the skin looking fresh and healthy. The result is exfoliation after a treatment (peeling or flaking) that lasts a couple of days. The content and strength of the peel, which is fully customizable, will most often determine the level of exfoliation post-treatment. Ingredients in the peel solution are also working to create new cells that function properly, not only visibly improving the appearance of the skin, but correcting from within.

When do I get a peel?

Chemical peels are usually recommended once per month, paralleling the skin’s natural 28-day cell turnover process. Depending on your skin concern, your esthetician may recommend peels more or less often. PCA Skin chemical peels have little to no downtime, allowing for treatments that won’t disrupt your schedule.
