Want to Combat the Signs of Aging? Consider Juvéderm®

Deep wrinkles and sunken cheeks can make your face look old and tired. Juvéderm®️ can help.

Juvéderm injectable fillers can help restore lost facial volume, giving you a more youthful and vital appearance.

Dr. Juan-Carlos (J.C.) Caballero at Warrenton Dermatology & Skin Therapy Center in Warrenton, Virginia wants you to look as young as you feel. Here’s what you should know about Juvederm injectables.

How do Juvéderm injectables work?

Juvéderm fillers, which are FDA-approved injectables, use hyaluronic acid to plump up areas of your face. Hyaluronic acid is a substance your body produces naturally to retain moisture.

Hyaluronic acid can bind up to 1,000 times its weight in water molecules. Each Juvéderm injection lubricates skin and tissue, adding support and volume to problem areas of your face.

Where will Juvéderm help?

Juvéderm injectables are designed to help restore a youthful look to your face. Here’s what it can do:

Each product in the Juvéderm filler line is designed to treat a particular area of your face that needs more volume. Dr. Caballero customizes a treatment plan to help you put your best face forward.

Are Juvéderm injections painful?

No injection is completely painless, although most patients don’t experience significant discomfort during Juvederm treatment.

Some Juvéderm injectables contain a numbing agent. Before treatment, our team provides ice or a topical numbing cream to help reduce discomfort. Most patients report feeling only a slight pinch or sting. The ultra-thin needles we use to inject Juvéderm help reduce pain and bruising.

When will I see results?

Immediately.

You may experience some mild swelling after your session, which can take a day or two to subside depending on the areas treated and the number of injections you receive. Once the swelling is gone, you’ll see the optimal results from your Juvéderm treatment.

How many treatments do I need?

Everyone has different beauty goals, so the number of Juvéderm treatments necessary varies from patient to patient. Most people, though, see good results after one session.

The results of each Juvéderm treatment typically last for about one year, although some patients see results for up to two years. Juvéderm results wear off slowly. When you see results fade, schedule a consultation to discuss a touch-up session.
