AviClear: A Breakthrough Treatment for Stubborn Acne

AviClear: A Breakthrough Treatment for Stubborn Acne

Imagine a day when you didn’t have to worry about your acne. Juan-Carlos Caballero, MD, can make that dream a reality at Warrenton Dermatology & Skin Therapy Center.

Dr. Caballero and his team see teens and adults alike who struggle with acne. That’s why he offers numerous acne solutions at his practice in Warrenton, Virginia, including AviClear®.

AviClear has won numerous awards, and for good reason. It’s the first FDA-cleared energy device that treats mild, moderate, and even severe acne, and it provides results that last.

Do you have stubborn acne? Here’s how AviClear can help.

How AviClear works

Unlike other acne treatments, AviClear gets to the source of the problem: oil production.

Acne breakouts occur when the oily substance on your skin — known as sebum — mixes with dead skin cells and debris, clogging your pores. This leads to localized infection, swelling, and inflammation. In severe cases, people can even develop cysts or nodules on their skin.

AviClear solves this problem by targeting the sebaceous glands that produce sebum. It involves specific wavelengths of laser energy. But it doesn’t work like other laser systems. Instead, the 1726 nanometer wavelength laser energy passes seamlessly through the skin, suppressing sebum production by the sebaceous glands.

The result? Less oil production, which equals fewer and less intense breakouts. There are no chemicals, medications, or harsh topicals. It also comes with minimal side effects and no downtime, and it’s completely safe for all skin types.

And, since AviClear treatments essentially change the makeup of your skin, you get results that last. That means you can say goodbye to costly prescription medications with unpleasant side effects.

What to expect from AviClear treatments

We treat acne with AviClear in three, 30-minute sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart.

During your treatment, you sit back and relax while our AviClear specialist passes the laser across the treatment site. You may feel a slight snapping sensation, but the AviClear system relies on its exclusive AviCool™ contact cooling technology to keep your skin safe and comfortable throughout the process.

After your treatment, you may have minor redness, but this fades quickly. Best of all, you can immediately resume your regular daily habits.

And when it comes to results, 92% of people report seeing their acne reduced by at least half 12 months following treatment.
